BSI FLORIN Society

The following list is of all those couples in which both spouses have been invested in the BSI. Since each couple has two shillings, Al Gregory (keeper of the original list) called them the Florins -- for the two-shilling coin of the late Victorian Era.

This list is alphabetical by surname. The name of the spouse who received the investiture earlier is given first. In all but two cases this is a male name. Likewise where the spouses have different surnames, the couple is alphabetized the couple by the name of the spouse who received the investiture first. Next to each name is the year the shilling was awarded. In some cases one spouse has died and this is indicated by an asterisk next to that name. A superscript "A" indicates membership in ASH.
